Recoding - Codebook
As there was no .mtr file uploaded for the revised codebook in StudOn, am I
right in assuming that we should use the episodic codebook also for the recoding step ?

Since they didn’t change the structure, but only single descriptions/when (not) to use entries, it should be fine to use the previous .mtr file I guess.
You probably do not want to recode your documents from scratch but instead take your existing coding work and modify it.
Either way, you do not need a new code system import. The revisions primarily addressed definition/when to use/when not to use, which only informs on how and when codes should be applied, not on what codes are available. No codes were deleted or added. One code was renamed, but it is easier for us to calculate intercoder agreement when you use the original code name. In the codebook we listed both the old name (‘fun’) and the new name.
