Our »Semantic Spatial Audio Rendering« group develops advanced audio reproduction technologies that enable consumers to enjoy high quality spatial audio reproduction through easy-to-use, compact consumer audio devices – such as a new generation of connected, immersive smart speakers.

What you will do

You love programming and have a passion for smart audio reproduction devices?

Well, we have the ideal environment for it and even more!

As a software developer within our team, you will be using C/C++ to implement the latest algorithmic developments for spatial audio reproduction and optimize their performance. Additionally, you will evaluate software stability under real-time conditions and create specifications and technical documentation for new and existing software. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team of audio enthusiasts and contribute to the development of cutting-edge audio technology.

  • contributes to the development of new audio signal processing algorithms.

What you bring to the table

  • University degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechatronics, mathematics, physics, or in a related field with the experience as outlined

  • Excellent C/C++ programming skills for real-time embedded applications

  • Expertise in optimizing, maintaining, testing, and quality assurance of existing C/C++ code / software

  • Expertise in signal processing, especially audio signal processing

  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing

The position is initially limited to 2 years with the aim to extend it subsequently. The weekly working time is 39 hours.
