Attendance in Exercises
I could not participate in the exercises this week. The slides state, that attendances is mandatory.
But I remembered Prof. Riehle saying in the first lecture, that this is not the case anymore, so attendance will not be part of the final grade. Which is it now? Or did I just misunderstand Prof. Riehle’s statement in the first lecture?

Attendance to lectures (first 90 minutes of class) is not mandatory, thus not graded. However, the exercise sessions and discussions (second 90 minutes of class) are graded.
