File name of uploaded file in StudOn
Hi,
when uploading my assignment “my-file.pl” to StudOn, StudOn changes the name to “my-filepl.sec”. Is this intentional, or am I doing something wrong? (Do I have to zip it first, or do something else with it?)
It does not happen with .pdf files.
(I am able to upload the file. But it seems to get renamed afterwards. And I was not sure if this could maybe lead to additional problems later on.)

I think that’s a security mechanism on StudOn.
I don’t think it’s a problem that the files get renamed - just upload them like that.
