Reviewing the literature research on costs of FLOSS leadership
Hello,
A lot of the sources, I have to review, are about costs for FLOSS usage and not about leadership.
In the excercise Nikolay said, that FLOSS contribution and FLOSS leadership are somehow not separable and that we should not criticize refernces about contribution.
But in my opinion costs of FLOSS usage is not applicable on FLOSS leadership.
So what should I do? Should I connive it or criticize it?

Thanks for the question.

I said in the class that clear separation is hard, but this only applies to edge cases, where a source talks about strategic FLOSS usage or contribution to the extent it can also be considered leadership. However, if a source is only about FLOSS use or contribution, and has nothing to do with leadership, you should include it in the review and subtract points accordingly.

The point of this exercise is to research FLOSS leadership and that’s what should be graded.
